Located in the northern most part of Hendricks County are the North West Hendricks Schools, comprised of Eel River, Middle, and Union townships and the incorporated towns of North Salem, Pittsboro and Lizton.
Tri-West Hendricks High School is a public high school located in Lizton, Indiana. It holds grades 9-12 from the townships of Middle, Union, and Eel River.
Tri-West Middle School is part of the North West Hendricks School Corporation which serves over 1,785 students. Fed by elementary schools in Pittsboro and North Salem, the middle school houses 6th, 7th and 8th grades and students feed into Tri-West Hendricks High School.
North Salem Elementary is located in the northwest section of the school district in the town of North Salem. The enrollment area is rural, with the population being the least dense of the two elementary districts. The enrollment area consists of the townships of Eel River and Union.
Pittsboro Primary School is a K-2 building within North West Hendricks School Corporation that serves approximately 300 students. Not only do we serve K-2 students, but we also house a developmental preschool program.
Pittsboro Elementary School houses approximately 300 third through fifth grade students. Our obvious goal is to prepare students to be productive members of society.
