Notice of a public hearing on proposed rates and charges for Pittsboro water utility users

Property owners, ratepayers and other interested parties within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Pittsboro or served or to be served outside the corporate boundaries by the water utility of the Town of Pittsboro are hereby notified that Ordinance No.2025-11, amending and establishing rates and charges for services to be rendered by the Pittsboro water utility, was introduced at a meeting of the Town Council on September 16, 2025.

A public hearing will be held by the Town Council at 7:00 p.m. on November 18, 2025 at the Pittsboro Town Administrative Building located at 33 East Main Street, Pittsboro, Indiana, on the matters of the rates and charges and consideration of adoption of said Ordinance No. 2025-11 which provides, in pertinent part, details within the attached ordinance and example of proposed rate changes.
