Road Closure Information

The Town of Pittsboro would like to remind residents that road construction will be taking place on the ramps for Jeff Gordon Boulevard, US 74, and State Road 39 in Lizton.

In Lizton, the roadway is reduced to one lane until August 1, 2026.

This project consists of pavement patching conducted by E&B Paving on I-74 East Bound and West Bound, from State Road to Raceway Road. There will be intermittent lane closures nightly 6:00pm until 11:00am. There will also be on/off ramp closures at the interchanges of Lizton (SR39), Pittsboro (Jeff Gordon Blvd), and Brownsburg (SR267).

Additionally, there will be advanced signage and message boards in place to inform the traveling public of lane and ramp closures. *

Ramps to be closed on or after June 5^th and 6^th as follows: I-74 Jeff Gordon Blvd Westbound, Entrance and Exit Ramps 6pm to 6am I-74 Jeff Gordon Blvd Eastbound, Entrance and Exit Ramps 6 pm to 6 am i-74 SR 267 Westbound Exit Ramp 6pm to 6am.
